Let's Talk About Oahu!
A vibrant center of
international
commerce, home to Honolulu and world
famous Waikiki Beach is known for its
fabulous climate, multi-cultural lifestyles and beautiful beaches.
But there is much
more to Oahu than the vistas from Diamond
Head. Here you'll find the military history
of Pearl Harbor, the surfing paradise of the North Shore
with world famous beaches like "sunset" and "pipeline." Beyond the
great shopping and landmarks in Honolulu, you'll find an island that
is rich in natural beauty as you drive out to its many different
areas. Oahu is known as the “Gathering Place,” and is a perfect
place to experience the diversity of Hawaii.
Where on Oahu
Should You Stay?
Waikiki -
World famous Waikiki Beach is the heartbeat of Oahu. An array of
restaurants, shops, boutiques, and entertainment are close at hand.
International Marketplace, Kapiolani, the Honolulu Zoo and the Waikiki
Aquarium are just a few of the attractions you won’t want to miss.
Easy access to canoe rides, surfing lessons, as well as catamaran
rides.
West Oahu -
Approximately 45 minutes west of Waikiki, this area offers an 18
hole golf course designed by Ted Robinson, and six Kramer-surfaced
tennis courts. A magnificent lagoon overlooks one of the finest white
sand beaches in Hawaii. Enjoy shopping, spa treatments and a wide
variety of water sports, as well as gourmet dining.
Turtle Bay - If
surfing is your thing, you’ll want to stay here close to the North
Shore, home of the famous Pipeline. Surf it yourself, if you are
experienced or be a spectator to some of the greatest surfing anywhere
in the world. You'll also find championshipgolf
courses, tennis courts, horseback riding, hiking trails and helicopter
sightseeing as well as world-class dining and shopping.
Truly you'll enjoy something for everyone at
Turtle Bay.
